Michael Shine, TEP, a graduate of University College, London, and Member of the English Bar, founded the firm in 1977. A former member of the Ministry of Justice Committee for the Revision of the Israel Companies Ordinance, Mr. Shine is an expert on global estate and tax planning, multinational family asset structuring and protection, trust law and international trust administration. He is the author of the chapters on Israel in the “Encyclopedia of International Trust Laws” and in “Offshore Centers of the World” and is the co-author of several articles published in leading law journals on the subject of M&As.
Shira Shine, TEP, a graduate of the University of Manchester (U.K), chairs the Trust Committee of the Israel Bar Association and is the author and co-author of many articles published in leading law journals on the subject of international taxation and the use of trusts. Adv. Shine has developed an expertise for the formation of family trusts and structures. Adv. Shira Shine is regularily ranked by various international journals as a leading practitioner in the field of international taxation and trusts.
Alon Shine, TEP, is a partner in the firm and a graduate of the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, holding two degrees, LL.B. and B.A. in Business Administration, majoring in finance.
Alon Manages the financial division of the firm’s International Practice and Leads investments for the firm’s clients in real-estate projects, financial and startup companies, including hedge funds, private equity funds and tailor-maid financial products which are designed personally for the firm’s clients (local and international).

This division, managed by Shira Shine, offers clients not only the drafting of intricate Family Settlements, including international tax and estate planning, but also the availability of its own in-house fully licensed foreign Trust Companies, as well as a range of private investment bank facilities through the banking institutions it represents.
International Tax and Estate Planning: The firm provides both private and corporate clients with international tax planning and private asset protection as well as estate planning. The Firm also has a strong focus on advising both local and foreign families as well as foreign trust companies on all aspects of the taxation and reporting obligations of trusts in Israel. Additionally the firm actively advises new immigrants and returning residents to Israel.
Real Estate: The firm handles the fullest range of foreign and local private client, Israeli real estate acquisitions and disposals, including corporate and tax treaty structures. It specializes in domestic and commercial land acquisitions through the medium of corporate trust structures, relating the same particularly to its multi-national non-Israeli clientele.
