Securities & Capital Markets – This department is one of the leading departments in its field in Israel, and in its current form, after the completion of the merger in June 2013 between Shibolet & Co. and J. Zaltzman, is the product of two departments, each being considered a leading department in its field in recent years. The department’s six partners as well as its associate lawyers provide ongoing legal consultation and represent private and public corporations, domestic and foreign, as well as other prominent players in the capital markets, in complex cross-border transactions, debt arrangements and unique procedures in the capital market field. In recent years, the department handled numerous public and private offerings, some of which were the largest and most complex in Israel, while providing creative solutions to unique problems. The department represents public companies (including Israeli companies traded abroad), in the process of their initial IPO and related procedures, as well as in their ongoing business, which includes, inter alia, transactions with controlling shareholders, tender offers and filing of various reports.
Litigation – Shibolet’s experienced team of litigators represent both foreign and domestic clients before all courts and tribunals, including arbitration and mediation proceedings. The firm represents many foreign companies involved in litigation in Israel, both as plaintiffs and defendants.
